Jonty Horrocks founded independent financial advice company Element Financial in 2020 after a successful career in the financial services industry.
He felt there wasn’t enough ‘heart’ in the industry when advisers were dealing with people’s personal finances.
He decided he wanted to offer Kiwis support, expertise and advice to allow them to focus on the things that matter most to them.
“Understanding your financial journey – where you are, where you want to head to, and how to get there – can be a daunting challenge,” he says. “Often our busy lives mean our personal finances can be neglected.
“I can help you with your financial journey, so you can focus on the things that matter most to you, like your health and wellbeing, your career or business, and your family and friends.”

Jonty graduated as a structural engineer before spending a decade in corporate banking services in Auckland and London.
“I love connecting with people and the last few years I’ve felt a stronger desire to help people on a more personal level with their financial journeys, using my banking background.”
That led to his launching the boutique service Element Financial.
“I want to create Element Financial as a safe place where people can feel heard, respected and inspired.”
